Hands-On with Hyperlight and Wasm [Workshop]

Hyperlight is a CNCF project originally created by Microsoft to provide hardware protection to WebAssembly runtimes like wasmtime that excel in software-based protection, enabling a trusted host application or service to use defense-in-depth techniques with WebAssembly at high scale. This workshop will provide an overview of how Hyperlight works, how it uses the no-std build of wasmtime and WebAssembly Interface Types (WIT), and give hands-on instructions of how to build a service that uses Wasm Components but protects each worker instance with its own “micro-vm” in a completely portable way.
