Mimic

Mikhail is a Principal Engineer at Mimic, focusing on WASM, tooling, and Rust. Before joining Mimic, Mikhail worked on the Indoor Mapping Data Format (IMDF) specification at Apple and developed financial and geospatial systems software using Rust at various startups. Mikhail runs the “Chicago Rust” meetup and is involved in the ‘Documentation’ and ‘Packaging’ SIGs (Special Interest Group) for the Bytecode Alliance. Mikhail is a maintainer for the polyglot code formatter “Topiary” where he has added formatting support for WIT and OpenSCAD. Mikhail actively contributes and maintains several Tree-sitter grammars, be sure to talk to him about Nushell and Tree-sitter!
